When I'm on my computer, I spend a lot of time on Substack! (https://substack.com/home) There are so many writers to discover and beautiful pieces to read! It's also a great way to learn or interact with different communities! It's a platform anyone can write on which is great, although I haven't written anything there (yet). I definitely recommend downloading!
(Here's a link to a channel I love! https://youtu.be/syQ1RsuJQ3U?si=ovvg-6h8ApppXRyE) When I'm hungry and out of ideas on what to make, I often go to Mina Rome's YouTube channel! Her videos are really well edited, and the recipes are simple! Although I'm not vegan like Mina, I like trying different foods, which she has! She also has a series of making foods from different books, shows, and movies. She's covered media like Avatar the Last Airbender, Twilight, and Percy Jackson. Her account is really fun!
The month before I graduated high school last year, I read Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. It's a fiction novel set in Tokyo and centers on a cafe that allows customers to travel back in time - but there's a "catch." Travelers can only remain for the time it takes their coffee to grow cold. When I read it, I had been feeling a sense of being "out of time" to be with my friends, and this book comforted me a lot. I even cried at a few points! I'd definitely recommend this book, it's fairly short but heartwarming.
